It is important to take care of your pieces so they last a long time. To keep your new jewelry looking its best please follow these recommendations.

Silver - It is natural for silver to tarnish as it is exposed to oxygen and moisture. It is best to store in an airtight bag. To remove tarnish and oxidation, use a polishing cloth. Do not wear while swimming, showering, sleeping or any strenuous activities. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions or other chemicals as they may cause discoloration.

Brass - Raw brass naturally oxidizes and tarnishes faster than other metals. Each brass piece has been treated with Renaissance Wax, a polishing agent that helps preserve the brass's bright color and prevent oxidation. This agent wears off over time, so periodic polishing and reapplication is recommended if you want to keep the same look. Do not wear while swimming, showering, sleeping or any strenuous activities. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotion or other chemicals as they may cause discoloration. 

Gold - Gold filled and vermeil can be cleaned with a quick swipe of a polishing cloth. Do not wear while swimming, showering, sleeping or any strenuous activities.  Avoid contact with perfumes, lotion or other chemicals as they may cause discoloration.

Beads - do not wear while sleeping, showering, swimming or any other strenuous activity. Do not cut thread.
